Diversity Facilitation Collaborative
Build Belonging. Foster Meaningful Conversations.
Connection, Growth, and Learning
The Diversity Facilitation Collaborative (DFC) is a team of UIC faculty, staff, and students committed to fostering a thriving, diverse, and inclusive community for students, faculty, staff, and community partners. Organized and supported by the Office for Engagement, our members are experienced facilitators, equity-minded practitioners, scholars, and community advocates.
We design and facilitate engaging, inclusive, and interactive workshops and dialogues that strengthen organizational culture, encourage meaningful conversations across differences, and build authentic connections. Whether working with individuals, departments, campus units, or community organizations, we create participant-centered learning experiences that meet people where they are while supporting UIC's commitment to inclusion, equity, and belonging both on campus and throughout the region.
