About the All Campus Climate Assessment Survey
The UIC All Campus Climate Survey was launched on October 10, 2024 and closed on December 8, 2024. The purpose of the Campus Climate Survey was to examine campus community members’ experiences on campus. All eligible UIC undergraduate students, graduate and professional students, staff, and faculty were invited to participate. All eligible participants in the student, staff, and faculty surveys were included in a random drawing to win one of fifty $50 Amazon e-gift cards (thirty $50 Amazon e-gift cards for students, ten $50 Amazon e-gift cards for staff, and ten $50 Amazon e-gift cards for faculty).
The survey was administered by SoundRocket, a Michigan-based social science research firm. UIC hired SoundRocket to allow for confidentiality and to align with similar surveys at other University of Illinois System schools. A team of staff from the Office of Institutional Research and the Office of Equity & Diversity made modifications to the survey template based on feedback from students, faculty and staff from across the campus.
