When: Tuesday, September 8, 2026   	Time: 1pm-2:30pm   	Where: Latino Cultural Center, Lecture Center B2    Join us for a film viewing and brief conversation of the 2023 documentary, The Hills, created by Chicago-based filmmaker and Associate Professor of Instruction at Northwestern University, Ines Sommer. Set on the far Southeast Side of Chicago, this documentary explores the aftermath of a community living in the industrial legacy after the fall of the steel industry in the 1970s.    Stay after the film for a brief 30 minute post-screening conversation facilitated by Sam Corona, co-founder of Bridges Puentes and organizer with Alliance of the Southeast (ASE).
